We have provided cat and dog boarding for customers in Surrey and Sussex since 1960 and our family-run business continues to greet many familiar faces each year. We also get to meet many new faces at our boarding kennels and cattery, thanks to the great recommendations we receive from those who have used our facilities in the past. Whether with us for long-term boarding or short-term animal day boarding, we welcome all breeds of cats, dogs and even small caged animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits to our large site.
At Orchard Farm, we believe that we’ve covered every conceivable angle to ensure your pets receive the best standards of care during their stay with us.
Feeding and Medication
Individual diets are catered for and we ensure medication routines are maintained throughout your pet’s stay. As a licensed and veterinary approved company, our staff are experienced and insured to administer medication.
For the safety of every pet staying at our dog boarding kennels and cattery, all animals must be immunised. Pet owners in Surrey and Sussex must produce an up-to-date inoculation certificate before a short-term animal day boarding stay or long-term boarding vacation.
Kennel Cough Vaccination
Should you decide to have your dog vaccinated against kennel cough, this would be required a minimum of 14 days prior to boarding commencing. There are two vaccines available, Nobivac KC which protects your dog against both Bordetella Bronchiseptica and Canine Parainfluenza, or Intrac which is a nasal spray to protect against Bordetella Bronchiseptica. To find out more about kennel cough and the steps we take to prevent this at our dog boarding kennels, do not hesitate to contact us.
To satisfy yourself that every care and attention will be given to your beloved pet, we welcome all visitors from Surrey, Sussex and the surrounding areas to come and view our boarding kennels and cattery. You can have a good look around and meet the friendly staff at Orchard Farm prior to leaving your pet with us for animal day boarding or longer-term boarding. No appointment is required although we have strict opening hours as listed below.
From 9.00am until 1.00pm and from 2.00pm until 5.00pm from Monday to Saturday (6.00pm by prior arrangement is possible). Please note that we are not open to manage the collection or accept the delivery of animals on Sundays or public holidays. As a family-run business, owners Julian and Mandy live on the site giving customers peace of mind that day or night help for your pet’s is never far away.
Collection and Delivery Service Available
We are able to offer a collection and delivery service for animals staying at our dog boarding kennels or cattery and for those using our grooming service. Our team has access to two fully equipped, air-conditioned vans for your pet’s comfort and we hold a current and up-to-date DEFRA transport license.
